Super speed!!

This is an action shot, I'd like to see you try and get a better picture, they just don't slow down (until that is they flop and sleep!!)
<>
The pups are set on one speed at the moment.... super fast!!!

They are like todlers, can't walk, have to RUN!!!
This morning they all headed outside.

After the heavy winds last night I came down stairs to bedlem, all five pups were running around downstairs having broken fee from the confines of the kitchen........

Who Me???

Apart from those who are far to chunky to run, you know, sometimes things are just too much of an effort!!
 Hellooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo..................
A stern word from Mum!!  Who am I kidding, she is as bad as they are.  She loves playing with them,

See, how can ANYTHING get done in this house at the moment.

I seem to be spending my free time surrounded with soggy newspaper, but it really is great fun.

Thank goodness there are only five!!!!

The pups are now out of the whelping bed and are living in the kitchen, well, that is until they escape, Mum jumps in and helps them break out.......

All are getting the hang that once they wake up they piddle on the many sheets of newspaper, and apart from the odd puddle, that seems to be mainly happening.

The two old cats seem to just put up with being 'loved' by the pups and as the kitchen is the 'hub' of our home they are surrounded by people for most of the day.  I have also opened the door into the utility so that the noise from the washing machine will become familiar.

They are very much into the soft toys that I have been collecting, like Lily, a teddy becomes something to cuddle up with.
This is the little red girl, she had just been 'told off' by the really old cat.  Cleo is 19, and sometimes just wants a bit of peace and quiet.

This is Sheye,  (or the yellow girl)
Sheye, she will fall asleep in such awkward positions.

This is Nelson, very laid back.  At first I though he was attacking the teddy, but, nope, just all snuggled up.  He walks around with this ted.

Needless to say they are starting to be total time wasters..........

An update.

On the 4th of October 2010, Lily gave birth to five healthy pups, 3 girls and 2 boys.

All pups have grown really well, and have started to reach the 'handful' stage.  Total time wasters, full of mischief.  Yesterday they moved out of the whelping bed and into the kitchen, here they sleep in a dog bed with plenty of newspaper on the floor surrounding them.  They took to starting the weaning process last weekend really well and now have a mixture of soaked puppy food as well as Mum's milk.  And already seek out the newspaper to piddle on.

This blog is to chart their progress and to be able to show their new owners how they are doing.  I will add video clips, and photo's and anything
